Position Description

Are you highly motivated, detail oriented, and creative? Are you up for a challenge, eager to learn, and passionate about design? Do you want to put your artistic skills to work for an established and fast-growing company?

If so, we’re looking for talented and inspired graphic designer who’s artistic work will be part of a variety of branding products and activities, such as websites, advertising, flyers, posters, post cards, corporate communications and more.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting clients and/or supervisor to discuss the objectives and requirements of the job
  • Interpreting the client’s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
  • Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Working with a wide range of media and software
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
  • Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches
  • Working on layouts and tweaking pages ready for print

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Must be able to intern a minimum of 15 hours a week (min 5 hrs/day)
  • At least 2+ years experience using Photoshop
  • Design Portfolio (online preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Abode Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of Video Editing
  • Basic understanding of WordPress
  • Strong verbal and written skills
